Realization: I have friends and a life in Arizona.
When you move somewhere new it always takes a while to feel like you really belong. I feel like my life is finally coming together here. I have a job, job friends (crazy weird but awesome thing), REAL friends, acquaintances, and then those people you just don’t really like all that much.
Otherwise known as I HAVE TO TURN DOWN PLANS THIS WEEKEND because there’s not enough time to do...

Two things.
1. I have a hitchhiker’s thumb.
2. I’m really awkward at the solo shot.

surisburnbook:
Well, it’s here.
Beyonce reportedly gave birth to a daughter yesterday in New York, named either Blue Ivy or Ivy Blue. (Gwyneth Paltrow says it’s “Blue Ivy,” but since when has she been a trustworthy individual?) Ivy Blue Knowles-Z is a much better name, so obviously I’m pushing for the…
She has arrived! I hope Suri survives the spotlight shift. If not, she better...

Something else I should have asked for over Christmas - a bike.
This is one of the biggest races in the world and something I have been wanting to do ever since it passed through my town when I was younger.
It’s a lot of work and A LOT of drinking.
Training starts now.

Cinemagraph attempt #1
There have been some images floating around that are part gif, part video and part picture. Have you seen them? I was intrigued so while home I tried to make one. It’s not the best, but it was my first try and I’m just happy it worked!
We’re trying to spice up our website at work and these were suggested, so this was attempt number one. In retrospect, I would make the lights...
Things I should have put on my Christmas List.
AKA I’m way behind on Tumblr and still catching up on things/events that occurred in 2011.
Year after year I can never come up with much of a Christmas list. Apparently I never need anything in November/December, but then come January I come up with a list. (With the exception of last year when I asked for one thing… a specific watch… and didn’t get it. Maybe my...

…or not. I think they hated us.
My one wish was that they would have kept them on longer than the 3.2 seconds it took to take these pictures.

pros & cons of tonight's grocery shopping
PRO: On 2 separate occasions I was told “you’re too little/skinny to eat all this food.”
CON: I bought so much food (for myself) that strangers commented on it. TWICE.
PRO: They didn’t think I could eat it all… mwah ha ha. Don’t they know I follow foodies on Tumblr?!
CON: I spent my day’s paycheck on food.
PRO: I skipped the gym and was still called...

I ruined Christmas.
Or so my family likes to say. Every year we have soup after church on Christmas Eve. This year was to be the same, but 5 minutes before we left for church I stirred the soup and it burned.
We ordered pizza. Thank you Jesus for being the reason for the season AND for having the local pizza joint open on your birthday.
